  1. Ive been attempting to go through my clothes lol. Took everything out of my closet and am slowly putting things back. Ive always had just way too many clothes, always held on to everything “just in case”

  2. 40:46 for me “letting go of my pasts self” sounds really sad, as if its not part of me anymore. but it is! i cant just get rid of my past! so instead i would call it “free space for new parts of yourself” i think that sound more gentle and fun

  3. I really want to start changing my wardrobe and have one that reflects my style. I know about capsule wardrobe for a while now but as you said the ones i see seem very “old” to me (i’m 17), your video is perfect to guide me trough my future decluttering and purchases thank you <3

The gold/silver jewelry pendulum is always swinging – so don’t worry. Silver will come back. Silver was super popular in late 80’s / 90’s. I still have many pieces from that time. This is my Xer 54 year old advice — keep all your favorite pieces in clothes, jewelry, accessories – those styles WILL come back around, guaranteed – and you’ll be glad you have them – AND they’ll be authentically vintage at that point. I’m still bummed about some of the things I got rid of that I would LOVE to wear now.

Love, love, LOVE your take on elevated basics and ways to make a curated wardrobe fun, modern, chic and interesting!!!

Get your shoes re-soled!!!! totally worth it 🙂

A big factor in being able to part with items is if your weight and size remain stable. So if you are someone who fluctuates I recommend keeping your favorite pieces in different sizes so you can seamlessly dress yourself even if its a temporary time period in your life.
