I know your channel is dedicated to high street clothing, but I wanted to say thank you making these trends approachable. You aren’t telling us what product we need to buy but instead the overarching theme and how we can make it wearable. The genuine love for fashion on this channel is great and has introduced me to styles and outfit combos I never would have tried on my own. I love getting inspo here and then shopping my closet!
Can we please pick a stance on trends? I recently watched 3 “trends that are OUT” videos that included several of your “trends that are IN” styles – skinny jeans, scarves (except the skinny neckerchiefs), leggings and tunic tops to name a few. Also surprised that you say reds are being replaced since I recently bought several red and maroon pieces (which I love) and were excited to see they were so IN. I totally get that trends are always changing and trying to follow them is really not realistic for the average person with a limited clothes budget. And totally agree we should wear whatever we want. I’ve never been a trend follower but in the last year I decided to take a closer look since I’ve been transitioning from my work wardrobe to a more casual vibe and wanted to check out what was in style now. All it’s done is give me a headache. So I’ll go back to buying and wearing styles and colors I love. Layering being one of them, and lots of scarves and leggings and whatever denim color I choose. I’m bound to be at least half right with whether I’m “in” or “out”. 🙂

Yay shoulder pads are back! Late last year I thrifted three jackets/blazers with shoulder pads , some square scarves, pearls and brooches. I never gave up my skinny pants. I guess l am a fashionista after all but at 67 l have lived through most of these trends. 😊🇨🇦
