  1. I think people present it like the must haves are all the same. My must haves may not be a white blouse, trench, button down and blazer. That’s the problem…….

  2. Hi there,
    I’m 53 house wife
Just wanted to pop in this morning and let you know. I almost panicked because I could not find you again and really thought you were maybe an angel.
I was an air hostess for 18 years and never knew where to start, because the clothes were uniforms or items that didn’t crease and had to fit into my suitcase. You really helped me.
I had a night alone and, after watching five of your videos, I started at nine in the evening and cleared out two-thirds of my wardrobe. You are right — everyone already has a capsule cupboard, and you can add on later. You don’t have to rush to the stores.
You were a 🛟 Thank you very much. You changed my life

Because you don’t then have enough clothes. What happens if you damage an essential core piece of your capsule? It’s not always so easy to replace it, especially if you are not an average size or best suit a less common colour scheme. Also, in the UK we have plenty of weather changes in one day – you need a lot of different clothes to cope with it.

  4. Wow, you are absolutely right….so boring…Thanks for this!

  5. I just use images as guidelines. I dress quite casually and I am a warm Autumn so black, gray and white are not good for my tone. I do wear the occasional black on my bottom half and my purse is black. I do well with simpler color choices like browns, olive green, beige and denim. I toss in orange, maroon and navy blue. I also don’t own many pieces. Seeing those 40 piece seasonal capsules make my head spin. I have about that much for all seasons but I am carefully rebuilding my wardrobe after a life change and body change as I’m now disabled and wear braces or supports for different parts of my body often and dressing myself is a challenge using only 1 hand. It’s doable if you consider your style and your life.
